“Cause it’s all in my head I think about it over and over again.”
I hate to be too harsh so early in the year but those words, from Nelly’s song Over And Over ft. Tim McGraw is what will become of your goals. They may remain stuck in your head and never actually happen if you don’t write them down.
Therefore, if you are a busy goal getter this post is for you. Let’s get straight to it; when I say write it down, I don’t mean this new age way of only writing a note/ memo on the phone. I want you thinking with ink-paper, planner, or post-it note. Maybe, you are like me, and you like to erase, us pencils (my 4-year-old says Ticonderoga makes the best pencils). I know that might sound silly since we live in a digital world. BUT trust me, its time to get those aspirations and affirmation out of your head and on to some paper. When you can see it all on paper laid out in front of you can add or eliminate things as you see fit.
I believe it is important to write things down, so I created a printable goal setting chart. I used this sheet to kept me all the way together, especially after having my third child. I LOVE it so much I added to all my health consulting programs.
As a natural health consultant, I was also tired of hearing about goals with zero deadlines and accountability. Even simple things like I want to lose weight and be happy with my body need to be written down tracked and reevaluated periodically. It has proven to be useful for everyone who uses it. So, in all honesty, this goal tracker is for me and you, lol! But it has proven to be effective for everyone who uses it.
Now, that it is a New Year and all I decided to share this Health and Happiness Goal Tracker with you all. Especially since the first week of the year is National Resolution Week. Yep, and Google’s definition of resolutions is “a firm decision to do or not to do something; or the action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter.” Umm, yes please give me all of that decision making and problem-solving tools you can provide.
I know some of you badasses are like ” I don’t set new year’s resolutions”? But the lie detector determined that is a lie. LOL. Aren’t resolutions simply goals set at the beginning of the year?????
Anywho, even if you don’t, set resolutions I will recommend two things to you.
- Get a planner, any planner. Here is the one I am using “Law of Attraction Planner.” I deemed it the BEST Planner every. I even did a cool video check it out. “Law of Attraction Planner 2019 Unboxing Review .”
2. Purchase my printable Health and Happiness Tracker PDF. This goal tracker is usually reserved for my private clients. But, since I want you to meet all of your Health Goals you can download and print it for ONLY $9.99. Also, there is a section at the bottom of the sheet where you can have your health coach or personal trainer complete to help keep you accountable.
3. If you do not have a natural health consultant (like me) you can purchase the “Ready. Set. Goal.” bundle for only $20.19. You see what I did there.? That bundle gets you the Health and Happiness Tracker, and I will personally help you set smart goals, deadlines, and rewards. Oh, and did I mention this bundle is worth more than $75.
RARE Note: It is not enough to live out loud you also have to write it out!
I don’t want you to be one of those people celebrating January 17 Ditch New Year’s Resolution Day! So, here is a free tip from me.
Let’s say you decide you will not do any of those 3 Things to create great New Year’s Resolution. That’s Cool! Two of my polls showed me some people are to busy to use planners or they are just doing their thing. If you are one of those people, I ask that you at least entertain the idea of writing out 4 semi-BIG goals for the year. Then place them in order of importance. Once you have done that set deadlines to complete one goal each quarter.
I would love to hear your thoughts on how you are writing it out.
Also, after reading all that do you why you should write down your New Year’s Resolutions /Goals? Are you ready to “Think with Ink” in 2019?
I hope you are read reading this in the best hour, health, and heart.
